COMMANDERS MESSAGE (April - June 2010) I hope that everyone survived the winter and your fuel bills, but spring will be amongst us in the near future. The next 3 months will be the busiest period for Post 372. We will have the Annual Easter Egg Hunt for all the children and grandchildren of members of Post 372. Entertainment and lunch will be provided for all attendees. In April we will also have the annual flagging of Chapel Ave, Post Spring Clean Up, Boys State Interviews and Post Nominations. In May we will have our annual Flagging of Locustwood Cemetery—placing flags on over 2,000 graves of military veterans, Memorial Day Services at the Township Municipal building, Installation of Officers and Boys State Orientation. In June we will have the Wildwood Convention, Boys State Week, and our 75th Annual Statewide Parade held at Locustwood. Please try to attend this ceremony that honors all of our veterans that have gone to the “Last Command”. There are more things in the works, so be sure to keep yourself updated by visiting our website and/or checking with one of the Officers—and look for posters and notifications on the Canteen Bulletin Board. If you have a question about an upcoming event, touch base with an Officer. In closing, please say a prayer for all of our past veterans that fought for this great country, as well as those currently on active duty and are defending the United States of America.
For God and Country, Charles Macukewicz Commander
