MESSAGE from the Ladies Historian Jan/Feb/March 2009
Carole Doyle, President Ladies Auxiliary, presented the American Legion Post 372 History Album to Commander Macukewicz and members at the Flag Retirement and Veterans Day Services on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. The History Album consists of articles dating back to the beginning of the Post and concluding with November 2008. the book will continue to be updated monthly with current articles of events. Many thanks go to Sue Quinn Morris for coordinating web site articles and photos for the album.
The Bead Flag Pins made and sold by the Ladies Auxiliary, in honor of Veterans Day, was a big success. We will again sell the pins in honor of Memorial Day, May 2009. Look for our advertisement. Many thanks to the Auxiliary Ladies, Edna Gallagher, June Fitzgerald, Shannon Spillane, Dot Wahl, Sue Johnson and Thelma Dougherty who helped make the pins and our great bartenders who took care of the pin sale.
